THE ORPHANAGE
Apparel Impact has always been focused on providing support to their local New England communities. But after the 2010 earthquake that devastated Haiti, it was clear that there was an immediate need to provide support to the children of Haiti who lost their parents, caretakers and homes. The Whitten family has been involved in international support since the 1980's and has always had a strong bond with the people of Haiti. That's why, in 2011, Vision International Missions, which was started by the Whitten family, opened their first orphanage in La Ganove, Haiti.

The 'Ti Palmiste Children's Home' was built to provide a caring and loving environment to nearly 30 children as of today. VIM and AI provide each child with a full- time staff, which they consider family and everything from meals to education and life skills.
